Pipe Relining: Inversion Drum Systems
Inversion Drum Systems
Inversion drums come in a variety of designs but essentially, they all perform the same purpose: to install a CIPP liner in a pipe.
Over the years the drums have evolved. Thirty years ago they were basically fixed to one position and could only shoot a liner to be ambiently cured. Today, you can choose a type with the size and function that best suits your requirements – the choice is never-ending in modern inversion drums.
You have varied angle capabilities to shoot a liner with a size to suit, you can cure by ambiently, hot water or steam. Drums today not only come with air monitoring and control, but they can also include temperature control for both hot water and steam – the larger drums are fitted with internal lighting and power-driven winding of the liner.
